After 7 years, nearly 160k dings, and enough hot takes to reheat the sun, we're closing the doors. On July 20th, the last ding sounds — but we are so thankful.

When we spun up Ding Dash, free speech was under attack — voices silenced, deplatformed, shown the door. So we built a corner of the internet that wouldn't stand for that. A place where you could say whatever you wanted without consequence. Seven years later, the landscape has changed. These days free speech has powerful champions like X and Gab, and we couldn't be happier.

So we're going away for a while. The servers need a nap, and so do we. :)

Thank you. Thank you for the stories, the hot takes, the debates that went sideways, and the ones that went somewhere better. Thank you for treating this place like it mattered — because it did.
