@OneofTen this symbol means EVERYTHING to me. I would NOT exist if it weren't for this.
Pizza King has red phones for calling in your order from the tables, but in the 1970s in Muncie you could also call tables.
One day in 1975 a 17 year old boy from the Muncie Central High School football team saw a cute girl sitting at a table in Pizza King with her friends, so he called the red table phone at her table to talk to her.
It was instant love.
During the spring of their senior year of high school, the girl got pregnant and they decided to get married and have the baby together. A year later, the husband died before the baby got to know who his father was.
That baby was me and I will FOREVER be grateful for the love of PIZZA KING!
STILL MY FAVORITE PIZZA!

@sinbach

Oh wow!! I had no idea. I mean, I knew you were from the area, I almost sent this back in December when I was in the area, but I'm staying in Anderson tonight and I'll be working in the area tomorrow and always figured I wanted to ask you what you thought about Pizza King!
I have been to several locations, even though it has been a few years and I'm from Cincinnati. I'm sure there are plenty of locations I haven't been to.
Wow! That story is almost incredulous to me, especially because I simply put the picture of the box there and asked you what the symbol meant.
Wow, I'm sorry that you didn't get to meet your dad here on earth. But I do we know that we both have the best [heavenly] Dad in the whole world [any universe for that matter].
Selah.

Pizza King does have quite a presentation at some of their stores, I believe I seen 2 different stores with the phones (unless it's just the one, then that's the one I've been to.

And I always try to have their Pizza when I come to Indiana. I love their green and red peppers. In Cincinnati, I'm not aware of a decent Pizza place with red peppers or red and green peppers as a single menu item.
