This week has felt very lonely for some reason. Living in a communist country where spiritual oppression can be strong practically and spiritually and press down upon us.
Desiring to see more and more souls for Jesus!
Desiring to see yokes of bondage and sin lifted off thousands!
Desiring to see orphans loved and adopted. Not left to rot in orphanages without love.
Desiring to inspire those saved to reach out and be contagious for Jesus!
So….
Pressing on!
For those of you here who know us and are wondering how we are doing, we are doing well enough. We sent out 42 Christmas boxes ( shoeboxes filled with gifts) to a very poor country orphanage we have been witnessing to. And it will also reach a few very poor families. Rejoicing and trusting that every seed planted will bear fruit!
It’s raining here And there are many roads in our city that are flooding! Beijing has asked for people to stay home. Buses have stopped.
PLEASE PRAY for the elderly and people who have difficult circumstances as a result. Some have to be evacuated. Others remember a flash flooding that happened in 2012 that lost 79 lives.
It’s quiet amazing thought I get rain for two weeks in a row - as usually Beijing is hot and no rain all summer long!
And here is a video of how we are being affected 😂😂😂. Thinking of inviting the grandchildren for a splashing party! This is a sunroom upstairs in our house 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Day 5 of not being allowed to leave our home. I think about 70% of Beijing is probably on lockdown. But I hear grocery stores are being emptied wherever people are actually allowed out of their homes.
Beijing has 1800 new cases today and that’s huge for here. The days ahead will be interesting.
They come to our home each day to do covid test while on this lockdown. It feels surreal.
Please don’t forget to pray for the orphans in China. Because of Covid no international adoptions are moving forward and there are many children waiting for parents and a loving home. 😰😰😰😰😰 they are on my hearts every day. Some little children even had parents arriving to be pick them up and bring them home.... when suddenly the China wall went up and no one could come in to pick them up anymore until Covid restrictions are lifted. Those children have been waiting ever since. Those parents are besides themselves waiting to come get them! Please pray the hearts can be turned soon to opening back up the roads for adoption. And that the people of God could also have moved hearts towards providing homes for children who have been abandoned and are suffering every day without a family.
"Mom the police are here!"
One thing I never get used to is surprise police visits! Today it was to introduce the new "Manager of Foreigners " and ask us questions. Our family is the only foreigners in our area! So it is an honor and privilege to be here.I believe it is important to always show love, kindness, respect and do our best to win people's hearts. A "from the past Anti-foreigner" attitude can still be seen and felt at times. Some will still use the words" white devils" in reference to us, but we understand WHY. They had to live through EXTREMELY unimaginable hardships during the years when China forbid white foreigners .They lived with intensity of Communism,Great Starvation,Tiananmen Square Massacre and more! So I find it easy to love those who may treat us wrongly or with prejudice.Jesus spoke on the Cross " They know not what they do"...
Having said all that, MOST people here are the sweetest kindest people! The Chinese have become my people in many ways and always will be!
Thank you! 🎉🎉🎉🎉Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️THANK YOU 🎈🎊🎉🎈🎊🎉
- to those who have given towards our car need, we are absolutely thrilled to say that today we can sign the papers!!!!!! It is absolutely a miracle in our minds! And it has been major encouragement in our faith!
Tears of thankfulness fill my eyes as I write this!
We will press onward, showing as much love and God to the dear people of China, trying to make a difference that can bring them joy that is everlasting. Touching the lives of babes to the elderly!
And you all are a part of that! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
And a special thank you to one couple in specific who donated most of our need!🌹🌹🌹🌹
God Bless and HAPPY NEW YEARS!
Communist China. Living inside is often difficult. Guards everywhere. Cameras everywhere. People watching your internet. Can’t do this. Can’t say that.
Well something just happened to someone in the family. She posted a scripture on China’s equivalent to Twitter. (She posts bible quotes from this app often) And the GOV somehow STOPPED AND BLOCKED it from progressing further than her own PHONE!
No one else can see it!
And we have seen the exact same post on others posts on that same day. The exact picture. So why hers? It’s creepy.
When things like this hit close to home, it feels surreal! 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Greetings
As many of you remember,we lost our van. A SPECIAL THANK YOU to all who helped during those difficult days!
Since then, we have learned that we can't buy our own vehicle until we get a license plate which is only possible when the gov. randomly draws our name from the millions who have also applied. It can take up to 5 years.SO...we need to rent a car for the time being.
THE MIRACLE:
We found a 7 PASSENGER CAR! The owner is a CHRISTIAN
Another AMAZING thing is that this car has a Beijing license plate which means we can drive to **JOSHUA'S HOSPITAL and Stuart's EMPLOYMENT** This is HUGE!
THE DILEMMA:
We need to rent for 1 year in order to secure the low price and not lose the car!
We need to raise $8000 before Dec.30th to keep it.
WE bring this need before God and our Brothers & Sisters because it is a critical need!
Here is the link if your able to help! Merry Christmas! May you all feel Jesus in a special way this year! paypal.me/WeaverFamilyChina
God Bless
