We live in the United States and just spent a stressful 30 minutes in Lowe's shopping. Neither one of us with masks and you thought we were wanted for murder. People stared and us, shunned and even wanted to change lanes. Rudeness is turning to open hostility. Out govt has done an excellent job of bifurcating people into segments and dividing them against each other by fictitious metrics that are meaningless.

@4given I'm also in the USA and am grieved by the unnecessary division being promoted in our country. I'm sorry you had such a stressful experience. I've found I sometimes procrastinate doing the shopping, because things are different and emotionally draining. During hard times, every kindness is magnified. I want to do what I can to bring comfort and show kindness to those around. It's hard for others too, including those who don't know Jesus and are hostile. But, only God's love can do it.
