Thank you for responding. It helped us to be careful about disposing extra plants. Please share your thoughts on(after some desktop study) introducing them to new regions.
@Jo_PrayerN_actionCenter I don’t know for sure if that’s what it is, but if it is, don’t leave roots anywhere you don’t want it spreading and cut it back before any seed pods have a chance to form. It’s a cool plant, livestock and people can eat it and it grows fast. Treat it like a fire, nice and useful, but it belongs in the hearth, not burning down the whole house.

@paga4 Kuya, do you have any idea about ornamental Arrowroot plants? With variegated leaves. Are they edible, I noticed people growing them in some mountain villages.
Arrowroot plants produce Tubers or roots which are edible. Disease resistant, fast growing and easy to multiply. One of the key plants for fighting hunger and malnutrition.
