@Knittinggrace Did you see any of John MacArthur's Strange Fire Conference a few years ago where he got believers like Joni Eareckson Tada to mock God and people who believe in miracles and the gifts of the Spirit? She was a keynote speaker. It was disgusting, and no one called Joni out for it they you could find on the web. Joni said something like.. when pentecostal people run to me wanting to pray, i say oh sure and please pray for my cat, dog and the cobwebs in my house too. Todd Friel also
@xixiangdong @Knittinggrace Our Sunday School class had a discussion on this subject this last week. Everyone in the room agreed that miracles do still happen. The problem we all asked is 'why doesn't is happen in America'. We all wondered if it's because we don't NEED the Lord. We take care of ourselves or only ask for 'safe' prayer requests.
@xixiangdong @Knittinggrace I believed as a young believer then got 'talked out of it' , the now back to my early beliefs. Praise the Lord. Seen tremendous answers to prayers the last few years again.

@KarMarJo57 @Knittinggrace My problem (unbelief) was, like many people, I believed God could and would perform miracles today but that he wasn t using men to do it like of old because i never heard of it until about 6 yrs. ago. it s the subtle lies that are easiest to believe
