Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, βO Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.
But if not,
let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.β
Daniel 3:16β-β¬18 NKJV
This is my declaration of faith regarding the narrative of these last two years!!!
@faith20 Thank you! What a powerful testimony!
I believe we are in a same kind of a situation and process today as Daniel was. Our rescuer is God and we will not bow for any other god (nor system)! Even if it means we will end up losing our earthly life. It can actually save the soul of other's (Dan. 3:28-33).
"Donβt fear what they fear, neither be troubled, but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear." (1. Pet. 3:14-15).
@erdenpilger @faith20 That's the same desire the disciples had - they asked Jesus to increase their faith. (Luk. 17:5-10) Jesus answered by telling them about servants and their Master. The servants' task is to obey and serve the Master, do what he is supposed to do. Obeying Jesus is to have faith in him. Jesus also says that if we are being faithful in the small things he will give us much. So, let's obey him in the littlest things in our lives, and if he can trust us in that, then he will give us more, which means, our faith will grow stronger. π
Let's seek God, read and obey his words and ask God, where does he want me to be faithful today? Is there sin in my life that I need to repent from?
Let's put God first in our lives, in everything we are and do! π
Blessings to you! π From Sari in Finland
