God uses trials and afflictions in our lives to produce in us character and faith that most resemble the Lord Jesus. He knows what’s in our hearts, our fears, our temptations, and our weaknesses. In order to make us more Him, we must go through the furnace. Though our trials seem difficult to bear, through the furnace, God is removing the dross so that the final result will be pure silver and gold. The outcome will be His most precious jewels that He will be able to use effectively for His Kingdom. We see this happening right now in the body of Christ. God is allowing us to go through the furnace because it is almost time for the glory of God to be revealed throughout whole world.

For the Lord your God dried up the waters of the Jordan for you until you passed over, as the Lord your God did to the Red Sea, which he dried up for us until we passed over, so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the hand of the Lord is mighty, that you may fear the Lord your God forever. ~Joshua 4:23-24

Enter by the NARROW gate. For the gate is WIDE and the way is EASY that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are MANY. For the gate is NARROW and the way is HARD that leads to life, and those who find it are FEW. ~Matthew 7:12-14

Not EVERYONE who says to me, “Lord, Lord,” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the ONE WHO DOES the will of my Father who is in heaven. v.21

By which gate are you entering?

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. ~Joshua 1:9

It may look like things are falling apart but everything is actually falling into place. There is a God who sits upon the throne and He’s always been in control. Fear not.
