A marina in the summer, an ice landscape in the winter. A beautiful sunset in the city of Vasa, Finland at 6 PM.

@tanjaostman the 17 hrs of darkness a day is subsiding there. Good. I hate darkness.

@xixiangdong I hate the darkness as well. Two months of really short days, like 4 hrs, and a pale sun midday, like in this picture. All in all at least four months of too dark days. It makes people tired and depressed. We are on the same latitude as Alaska, where they have the same problems. I have nothing against the winter weather, but the darkness... I would like to travel or move south every winter. But nothing beats the beautiful Nordic summers and the nature!

@tanjaostman Wow! It's like that old episode of Northern Exposure where they confronted that Jewish Doc because he was too happy and not depressed like everyone else in Alaska. He was wearing a headlamp all the time during the winter. His friends considered it like a narcotic, so they did an "intervention". Lol. So much for silly American television. I don't watch it anymore, but that was funny.
