@xixiangdong I hate the darkness as well. Two months of really short days, like 4 hrs, and a pale sun midday, like in this picture. All in all at least four months of too dark days. It makes people tired and depressed. We are on the same latitude as Alaska, where they have the same problems. I have nothing against the winter weather, but the darkness... I would like to travel or move south every winter. But nothing beats the beautiful Nordic summers and the nature!
@tanjaostman Hey, I've got an idea. Now that Churchhill, Stalin and Roosevelt are dead, I know the perfect place in the Crimea.
Seriously, the max here is about 14.5 hrs of darkness, but it's still hard to take. In about 16 days the whole world will have exactly 12/12.
