@MaryMamuzich
so, we put up our decorations this year. but they were causing me breathing issues - due to the bad mould they sat in in our last homer

last night, i finally owned up to Jo and Steven...so down came the decorations and we ran an air purifier at maximum all night.

all good now! and we'd planned to bin them after christmas anyway, and start afresh next year

but i was struck by something - "what is God's best for me and my family?"

this isn't about stuff, but the heart of God wanting to bless His children

so we went out and hunted for a tree

i figured i'd find a sorry looking plastic one somewhere...but, instead, I found a real christmas tree fro £1.00. i had to check it was the right price - it was

so we now have a real christmas tree and very few decorations were left on the concussed looking shelves

it isn't up yet - am clearing the studio away so we have somewhere to put it

Jo said we should be creative enough to make some decorations

🙂

@Berrybunchfamily we used to go out and get huge trees. We had almost a lot of property covered in pine trees. Our ceiling use 25 feet high. After we sold and moved in the valley and it's mostly farm land and it's harder for Jerry to get out in the woods... So we bought a fake tree but it's a pretty one.
I'm glad you got rid of the moldy decorations and have a real tree! I know your family can make some fun decorating for it.
Sally, surprisingly doesn't touch the tree! We are keeping my sister's 6 month old puppy for a week and she has also left the tree alone.
Have a restful evening!
