I have no problem with Saint Nicholas in our Christmas celebrations anymore than I have a problem with George Washington on July 4.
The weakness of our celebrations does not emerge from the presence of Santa but from the absence of Christ.
Santa Claus loved Jesus, btw.

@KarlGessler I agree. But, there are so many different "Santas" though. Somehow it went from Saint Nicholas, the man and the legend, to a being who knows when all children have been naughty or nice (all-knowing?).
