@NotMyName I fit into the person you need but I'm not in the US. I can assure you of my prayers for the recovery of your child. The healing hands of Jesus Christ of Nazareth will touch your baby. Amen.

With the advancement of technology, like the AI, I sense that in the future, some churches or Christian ministries may want to deploy AI technologies to handle some leadership roles in the Body of Christ. Do you think this would be biblical?

It pleased God that only priests with known human genealogies, fallible, sinful records (but whose sins have been atoned for), should bear the ark of the covenant, and not perfect angels or soulless animals. I think we're greatly privileged to be humans; not angels or animals.

Understanding the way the priests in the Old Testament bore the ark of the covenant will give leaders the requisite leadership wisdom. The ark was borne by four priests on their level shoulders to avoid lopsidedness. The priests were forbidden to carry the ark on their heads or on a cart. If you want to live long as a leader, please don't carry the work on your head. Select people whose shoulders are of the same level with yours to help you bear the responsibilities of your leadership.

The word of God is a "realm", a "world", and a "universe". I'm living in that realm and have built my impregnable castle there. Nothing can remove me from it.

One of the initial steps towards experiencing divine healing is by getting it settled in your heart first that "this sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby."

Jesus Christ never condemns any sinner, but He says to the sinner, "Go and sin no more."

The inner voice of the Holy Spirit is one of my greatest assets. From childhood, that voice has kept me away from lots of troubles and pitfalls of the devil. It has also preserved my heart from fear and anxiety. I can't trade that voice for anything.

Many people have wrongly perceived discipleship to be meant for only young converts or for those undergoing preparatory classes for water baptism. That could be the reason why some pastors don't participate in the Sunday school or small group Bible study classes. No believer ever graduates from discipleship till death. We can only quit discipleship when we think we have become perfectly like Jesus with no need for more spiritual growth.

God has graciously lengthened the years of some of our fathers and mothers because the sons and daughters who should take over from them with a new mantle of leadership are not fully mature for the task ahead. Discipleship now more than ever.

@sarikorpi absolutely correct. This is something that the Lord is beginning to restore to His church and it's one of the hallmarks of biblical revival. It's one of my prayers for the church, especially the Nigerian church.

The Lord says to you: "Weep not. Let joy spring up within you."

I've realized that "pulpit ministry" (ministering from the pulpit) is one of the least forms of ministry by which we can impact lives and do genuine biblical discipleship. As good as pulpit ministry is, we should start making it look less attractive and rather emphasize more on one-on-one discipleship, small group meetings, and the house church model.

The man behind the pulpit is mostly like an actor. He may not be the same man at home who lives with his wife, kids, etc. Whatever he says or does behind the pulpit shouldn't be taken at face value until we know the kind of life he lives outside the pulpit.

Genuine one-on-one discipleship provides the disciple the privilege of knowing and touching the Pastor. It's that intimate relationship between a disciple and a discipler that truly transforms the disciple.

This was the example that Jesus set for us. His disciples lived with Him, ate with Him, and slept with Him. We need to close the gap between the pulpit and the pew.

As powerful as city-wide and mass crusades are, there can be no revival unless the church returns to personal (one-on-one) evangelism.

Personal evangelism has been tested over the years to be far more effective than mass crusades.

Mass crusade is like keeping several empty bottles outside while it's raining for them to get filled. That would be a difficult task. The heavy rain will cause an erosion while the bottles may never get full. Even if anyone gets full, it stands the risk of spilling its content.

But personal evangelism is like taking a container of water and pouring it directly into the bottles, one at a time. By this way, more bottles will get filled within a shorter time and lots of resources will be preserved.

The conditions of mentorship and human followership may change or be modified to suit current realities. But the conditions of discipleship remain unchanged. Jesus said:

"If any person wills to come after Me, let him deny himself [disown himself, forget, lose sight of himself and his own interests, refuse and give up himself] and take up his cross daily and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also]." Luke 9:23 AMP

In the strictest sense, there's a difference between a believer, a disciple, and a Christian, though we may still use these terms synonymously. There was a time when Jesus preached and many believed in Him (they became believers). That is, they responded to the altar call But Jesus said to those believers, "If ye continue in my words, then are ye my disciples indeed" (John 8:31). Thus, a disciple is the believer who follows Jesus Christ daily and CONTINUES to obey ALL His teachings.

The disciples in the early church at Antioch had become so Christlike that they were nicknamed, "Christians" (Acts 11:26). A Christian is a believer who has become a disciple of Jesus Christ and has so become Christlike that you can hardly tell the difference between the Master and the disciple.

Are you a sinner, believer, disciple, or a Christian?

Saying the sinner's prayer with faith in your heart can only make you a believer or a baby in the faith (teknon), not a disciple of Jesus Christ. Sometimes, it's hard to differentiate between teknons and sinners. Through discipleship, teknons are groomed to become mature disciples or sons (huios). Only huios can drive and advance God's kingdom on earth. The Great Commission is summarized thus:

1. Preach to sinners to get converted and become teknons.

2. Train (disciple) teknons to become huios.

There's no number of celebrities used by betting companies for adverts that can make betting right. Betting is unbiblical, addictive, destructive, and mentally incapacitating. Quit betting.

In life, we may not always have faith in God to stand. But we need to always surround ourselves with people whose faith will sustain us even when ours has failed.
