As a believer, you're the offspring of the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Don't wear that goat costume presented to you by the devil.
From My Altar
1. I meddled with the mundane,
The worldlings' treasures I craved to retain,
And the lost I cared less to help,
Then I heard a call -
It was a Macedonian Call.
2. I got me a priestly parish,
Parishioners so kind my pocket to garnish,
Neglecting the Ark in benighted lands,
Then I heard a distant cry -
"Send us reliefs ere we die."
3. I ran to the altar,
My consecration I did utter,
"Lord here am I, send me tomorrow,"
Then I heard a whispery groan:
"Hasten now; every second counts!"
4. I rose from the altar,
Took up my flag and banner,
Away to ailing Africa!
Away to aching Asia!
Sailing to sick Samaria!
Mercy, mercy on Macedonia!
Not everyone who's following Jesus is actually following Jesus. Jesus mentioned what anyone who's truly following Him should do.
Luke 14:25 - And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,
Luke 14:26 - If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
Luke 14:27 - And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
After Jesus paid my price with His blood. He wasn't ready yet to take me home, but He put a seal on me to show that I've been bought. The seal is, "HOLY GHOST". That's a real caution sign.
Life is released by LOVE, but it's received by FAITH. The preachers of the words of LIFE must do so with love, then can the world be inspired to have faith to receive eternal life.
Christ is our Love and Lord,
Our Prize and the Price,
A Person and our Place,
Our Saviour and the Servant.
This is me (in front and dressed in white shirt) in 2011 with some team members arriving at a mission field in Rivers State, Nigeria. The mission field is like my natural habitat and it gives me so much joy. Unfortunately, the brother behind me, Solomon Bassey, has gone home to be with the Lord. The lady beside him is Nancy his widow.
This is one of my memorable photos when in 2011, we led some hundreds of undergraduate Christian students to a rural mission in a riverine community called Emelogo and Adada in Abua/Odual Local Government Area, Rivers State, Nigeria. You can call it a risky voyage. But we saw it then as a big fun and passion to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank God there was no casualty.
Nothing creates evil like a fearful mind.
Nothing creates excuses like an unwilling mind.
Don't forget to take the Name of Jesus Christ with you today. It's victory all the way.
Satan is so fearful. It's your fear that fills him with "faith" and courage to afflict you. Don't express your fear, speak faith, rebuke the devil, and he'll flee from you.
Satan knows his boundaries, just like the seas and oceans. No matter how he threatens and rages, his proud waves can't extend to your territory. You're safe and secure.
Job 38:8-11
8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?
9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,
10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,
11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?" Job 38:8-11

This is such a romantic but very spiritual scripture:
"Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages. Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves. The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved." Song 7:11-13
We have so many believers, apostles, prophets, evangelists, and pastors, but few labourers. Only those in the field of mission will understand this.
God created man after everything was created. The first thing Adam did was to rest on the Sabbath before his works began. He was born into rest. The Christian life began when Jesus finished His work on the cross. We were also reborn into rest. We need to sit and rest in the finished work of Christ first, before we can progress in our walk with God.

The devil sometimes arranges meagre blessings to distract you from the mega blessings. May God shield you from every premature testimony for the ultimate testimony.
God has wrapped Himself with "darkness". His presence is within us, yet it's veiled in the garbs of divine mystery. God's aim is to elicit commitment and banish casualness from the hearts of seekers.
"He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies." Psalm 18:11
