But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.

EVERY MOVEMENT MATTERS
Charles Finney 1792-1875
Every Christian makes an impression by his conduct, and witnesses for one side or the other...
At every step you tread on chords that will vibrate to all eternity. Every time you move, you touch keys whose sound will reecho all over the hills and dales of heaven, and through all the dark caverns and vaults of hell. Every movement of your lives, you are exerting a tremendous influence that will tell on the immortal interests of souls all around you
..."Skilled living gets its start in the Fear-of- God , insight into life from knowing a Holy God. It’s through me, Lady Wisdom, that your life deepens, and the years of your life ripen. Live wisely and wisdom will permeate your life"...
Proverbs 9:7-12 MSG
Question for everyone... After Apple banned Parler I've been reconsidering my studio setup, which has been Mac based for many years. Though I try to somewhat stay with a tech direction that seems to be the most honoring to the Lord it has basically become a "meat sacrificed to idols" scenario so my question really is more along the lines of freedom of the OS. As a software engineer I'm saavy on both systems, but have quite a bit of $$$ tied into the Apple framework and Applications I use. So my question is really, is there a better choice in light of the censorship and technical overreach we may see more of in the future? Thanks for your thoughts!
One more thing, friends: Pray for us. Pray that the Master’s Word will simply take off and race through the country to a groundswell of response, just as it did among you. And pray that we’ll be rescued from these scoundrels who are trying to do us in. I’m finding that not all “believers” are believers. But the Master never lets us down. He’ll stick by you and protect you from evil.
2 Thessalonians 3:1-3 MSG
How is life where you live, regarding C-19? I live in Finland, where we have among the least cases in all of Europe. But our news tells us every day that the situation is really bad. I’ve been working from home since March 2020. I miss my colleagues and students. I miss having guests. I miss my two sisters who live with their families in Helsinki and Stockholm. Thank God we have something called right of public access. We have full access to all land, including forests and beaches (like in the rest of the Nordic countries). There are many walking trails, and ski tracks. We become full-blooded outdoor persons. Dr Joseph Mercola writes: “The cost for lockdowns in Canada, in terms of Quality Adjusted Life Years and Wellbeing Years, is at least 10 times greater than the benefit. In Australia, the minimum cost is 6.6 times higher, and in the U.S., the cost is estimated to be at least 5.2 times higher than the benefit of lockdowns.”

Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend [to show rage or worthy purpose].
