“You are from God, little children, and you have conquered them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”
1 John‬ ‭4:4

“Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in everything; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:16-18‬
These are our constant calling in serving God, in good times and in bad times too. In this He rejoices over us, lifting us up.

Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
— Psalm 23:6

This is the beautiful provision of our great Shepherd, wrapped in His undeserved Love for as long as we follow Him.

Rather than reading around and about the Bible we should be reading it for ourselves first, every day! Devotionals are good but our primary connection should be with just ourselves, the Word and the Holy Spirit.

A visual and physical reminder of Calvary is a good thing to have, it focusses the spirit on our Anchor that never moves. It guides us Heavenwards in faith giving us hope each day, our hearts filled with petitions of love. In this we have all we need for our journey Home!

The LORD said over and over, sometimes every verse especially in Leviticus where He gave them the Law... "I AM THE LORD"

For me it is a constant reminder of what goes wrong with everyone... we forget GOD IS GOD... not us, not the government, not power, not money, not lust, not our flesh and its neverending desire to be satiated, not idols of the imagination or things people have worshiped when they themselves made it with their own hands and not evil spirits people pursue seeking power for themselves to be yet again a little demi-god (wanna be god)... As it says in the Word of God ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD... it's why we need a Saviour The Christ (annointed one).

"Thou shalt have NO OTHER gods before ME"

Jesus is LORD!

... I am the Lord, Who consecrates and makes you holy, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God. I am the Lord.

The land shall not be sold into perpetual ownership, for the land is Mine; you are [only] strangers and temporary residents with Me. [Heb. 11:13; I Pet. 2:11-17.]

Our Lord’s disciples are to be sent to evangelize the world. How are they to do it?

What is the first thing to consider?

You notice what our Lord puts first: It is sanctification:

“Sanctify them, for the work needs to be done in them before it can ever be done in the world.”

There is nothing that appalls me so much as the almost incredible way in which Christian people seem to ignore entirely the teaching of the Scriptures with regard to methods of evangelism.

In the Scriptures from beginning to end, the emphasis is on the messenger, not his external methods.
It is on his character and his being and on his relationship to God.
