Why does it seem like every church meets on Sundays at 10:30? One would think that if a church met on other days of the week, people who cannot attend in Sundays could still go to church. #IamgoingtomisschurchSunday.
@Ps13 Really? Jesus rose on the first day of the week. That's why we traditionally met then. The time varies. I know some that meet at 10 or 9. Traditionally it is 10-10:30 because everyone had chores to do because they had animals. Wed eve is why many churches have this service just for the reasons you mentioned.
@KarMarJo57 also if you do reply, I won't be replying until tomorrow night. I turn my phone off for 24 hours every week.
@Ps13 Here's a study already done on the subject:

@KarMarJo57 okay, but I don't see a command to worship on Sunday. Second, Christ rose on the first day of the week on the Jewish calendar, not the Roman, and the decision to celebrate Easter on Sunday wasn't made until centuries after Christ rose. And lastly, Romans 14:5 says that as long as I am convinced I am right, I am, though so are you. Lol.
@Ps13 I guess I don't determine if "i am right" I just want to follow Jesus.
@KarMarJo57 could you reference the instances? Because I can't seem to find them.
