What is this boast of the Lord that “the Lord alone” guided Jacob and “there was no strange God among them”?
This boast is the truth that remains elusive to the human race: God does not need the help of foreign deities.

God doesn't need the help of Mammon, Zeus, Aphrodite, Molech, or any other idol to make us happy, healthy, or fulfilled. The Lord boasts about Himself because it is the Truth, which makes us free, and whose rejection makes us slaves. The people of God we're delivered from slavery by the hand of the One True God. Worship of any other god is a return to slavery. Every place you find slavery, you will also find idolatry.

America is full of idolatry. Christians using coping mechanisms instead of leaning into Jesus is idolatry. We are all guilty to one degree or another. Freedom will only return with repentance and pure worship of the One True God.

Why am I obsessed with deliverance ministry right now? Because the presence of God is like a bonfire in a blizzard. You don't want to be anywhere else. Every time I see someone get delivered, the power of God’s presence is palpable. As one Christian author said, “You must be emptied before you can be filled.”

Some people want to experience more of God but must first renounce and repent of the things that grieve God’s Spirit.

“Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness [remove the obstacles]; Make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God.” Isaiah 40:3 (Amplified Bible)

This is relevant to me as we approach our first Mass Deliverance event. One of the renunciations listed in Greg Locke's handbook for deliverance is the Enneagram. I have never gotten into the Enneagram but it has been all around me and I have casually engaged with it just because everyone around me was talking about it. I haven't know why it would be considered "occultic" but this young woman presents some good information in a very humble attitude. There are going to be some people who balk at renouncing the Enneagram but I am finding that resistance and offense is often a sign that demon is getting exposed and uncomfortable.

I renounce the Enneagram! I don't need it. Jesus tells me who I am and that is more than enough for me!

I am diving head-first into the deep end, and I am not afraid. I praise God for what He is doing through others in deliverance ministry. I praise God for the revival in Mt Juliet, TN. But I have observed that while revivals spread from one place to another, they also tend to lose power as they move away from the bonfire's center. I believe God has put it in my heart, not to simply carry a torch from another’s bonfire but to cultivate another fire in my hometown. It is more dangerous to be successful in ministry than to be a failure. People will forgive failure much quicker than they will forgive success. Success makes you a target of the enemy. Failure means you have already been shot down and no longer remain a threat. There is no longer a need for the enemy to target you.

If I become quiet on social media, it is usually because the analog world is making more demands on my life than usual. I value the analog world more than the digital world. The value of the digital world is measured by how it affects the analog world to the glory of God. By God’s grace, I will always put flesh and blood before likes and subscribes. If I get quiet on here, please, take a minute to pray for me because I am busy for the Kingdom of God.
