Jesus came to Save His people FROM their Sins. What does that mean to you? Are you His people? Do you see anything in there about your responsibility in that? It sounds like a promise if you are His people. How do you become His people?

Revelation 13:15

(Romans 8:8-10 KJV)
"So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness."

Are you in the Flesh or are you in the Spirit? If you are Born Again the Flesh should be buried in Baptism, if not you cannot receive the Holy Spirit. He can use you and guide you and help you but you cannot be one spirit with Him.

How can any of you think that you can get in the Flesh again if you have become one spirit with God by being joined to the Holy Spirit?

He can't Sin. How are you capable of Sin?

If you have not the Holy Spirit I have Good News for you.

Repent and be Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the Remission of your Sins and you shall receive the Holy Spirit.

"Whosoever is born (again) of God doth not commit sin; for his(God's) seed (The Holy Spirit / Nature =Hebrews 2:16) remaineth in him(John 1:33): and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."

I am taking a Philosophy course for a Chaplain degree and I was thinking about the question,
"Can God make a Rock so big that He can't move it"?

I have two answers:

1st, is to ask a question,
"Can an ILLOGICAL god create a rock so big that He can't move it?"
If the answer is Yes then that god is illogical.
If NO then that god would be finite and therefore not a god worth worshiping unless you were illogical yourself, meaning that to ask such a question about a perfectly logical God would also be illogical.

My second answer is to say, Yes, that God did create a rock so big that He can't move it in a sense. It is the heart of a person who chooses to be illogical given the information necessary to choose to be logical.

Jesus came to save His people from their Sins.
If you Sin you don't know Him. (see 1 John 3:6)
You may know about Jesus but do you KNOW Him in the biblical sense?
Marriage is an allegory of the relationship we are supposed to have with God.
1 John 3:9 tells us,
“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his(God's) seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.”
Seed there is sperma in Greek.
When Jesus was baptized the Holy Spirit came and remained. This is true for everyone who has truly been Born Again of water & the Holy Spirit.
This is the New Covenant that was promised?
Hosea 2:19-20 says, "And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies. I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD."
Remember Matthew 7:23? “And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

Jesus said that you must be Born Again of water and the Holy Spirit to see and enter the kingdom of Heaven.

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." -John 3:3

Have you been baptized in water for the Remission of your Sins and received the Holy Spirit?

Jesus came to save His people FROM their Sins. He who commits Sin is of the devil, (a slave of Sin) but if Jesus sets you Free FROM Sin you will be Free in Reality.
Unless you Repent of your Sins & believe in Jesus to save you FROM your Sins & are Born Again of water & the Holy Spirit in Jesus's name you will never see or enter the kingdom of Heaven.
He who is Born Again of God CANNOT Sin because his flesh has been buried in Baptism he has been given a new heart & a new spirit and the Holy Spirit is joined to him, & the wicked one cannot touch him.
& this is what condemnation is, when the Truth came, people preferred the Lie. They loved their Sin more than Righteousness, & thus they received the Lie that they might be damned because they loved not the Gospel.
But as many as received Jesus Christ as LORD, they have overcome the wicked one & he finds no Sin in them.

Just thought I would put in my 2 cents.

The Bible talks about beating obstinate SONS even with a rod of correction if necessary.

Spanking is something that can be good for training little children but if it hurts the hand of the mother to spank, it is probably ineffective or abusive to the child. It is usually not necessary with most girls.

No woman should ever be beaten or treated like a child by her husband. Men who let this kind of thing happen to women who they know about are not men.

Remember they beat Paul (a man) with rods for preaching the Gospel. They were publicly humiliating him, but he took it patiently as a good soldier of Jesus.

QUESTION:

Why is it that if you talk about Jesus FORGIVING you for your Sins that everyone in church loves you, but if you tell them that Jesus saved you FROM your Sins many of them call you a Heretic?

If Jesus doesn't save you FROM your Sins you will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Is this not the truth?

Jesus came to save His people FROM their Sins. He who is Born Again of God has been Freed FROM his Sins and CANNOT Sin because he has been given a new soft heart and a new spirit that Jesus joins to the Holy Spirit of God. He who is joined to the LORD is One spirit with Him.

Have you not been set free FROM slavery to Sin? Are you not a slave to RIGHTEOUSNESS and HOLINESS? If you have Sinned after supposedly being Born Again where could your Sin have come from or is the Spirit of God not in you? Can the Holy Spirit be joined to a Sinner or did He not keep you from Sin or are you actually Born Again?

Is this not what the Bible says?
If not what has Jesus actually done for you?
