@sinbach Interesting. In the UK it's advised that you avoid paying by cash (due to covid), but as far as I'm aware it is still perfectly legit over here.π¬π§ π¬π§ π¬π§
@StevenBerry no society has completely gone cashless yet, but covid-19 has pushed it into over drive. In the UK, more than 3/4th's of all consumer transactions are not done with cash. That number is expected in increase to 9/10th's by the end of 2020.
@sinbach@StevenBerry I thought Iceland had already gone cashless, previously....then had major issues with computers failing and had to backtrack as people couldn't get paid or buy food...I may be wrong...
