God doesn't judge what someone is like by their social media profile. Neither should you.

"It's raining and I know we're tired, but try to raise your lamps a little higher up. Hold up a light a light till the morning comes; hold up a light till the world is won."
-Thrice

Being flexible is extremely valuable in life, cos nothing ever goes to plan. Yesterday I was unable to get out running, so at the end of the day I went out for a short stroll, and simply enjoyed God's creation. (Can't get the picture right way up)

"God told Adam and Eve they could eat from all of trees in the garden, except one.

So, what did Satan do? He got them to focus on the one they couldn't eat from.

God wants us to be thankful for all that we have and not distracted by all that we don't have."

God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Btw false modesty isn't the same thing as humility.

Love is more than a feeling. Great examples from the Scripture how to love. I am still learning how to love and how to receive God's love. "But now faith, hope, and love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love." 1 Cor 13:13. "Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. It's so easy to fall into the trap of repeating Christian clichΓ©s/phrases, without really meaning them or even knowing what they mean. Just don't.

Memorising scripture is great, but it's so much more beneficial to memorise the principles of scripture.

If you've been hurt by the church just know you're not alone. Church folk are still human so they're still gonna screw up.

Harsh, but true...

"If you think you deserve heaven, take it from me you are not a Christian."
- Martyn Lloyd Jones

It's true Jesus is like a friend, but he's more like the wiser, older friend who you look up to and who's willing to tell you what you don't want to hear.

The moment you try to make the Bible relevent you've missed the point. The Bible is totally relevent for a broken world, it just needs simplifying and explaining to those less familiar with it.

Don't think a criminal in prison is any closer to hell than a hypocrite preaching at the front of church. Which is worse: to think you're good with God, when you're not, or to know you're not good with God?

We can't convert people over to Christ. All we can do is scatter those seeds. The rest is between them and God so that we can't take credit or boast.
