Does any of you run a "Christian type" online store and make use of Facebook ads? I have recently noticed my ads on facebook are not performing like other "secular" websites I have built in the past... I am wondering if Facebook is blocking my ads because they are Christian related.... 🤔🤔💭

@ajmeintjes more than 5 years ago, we found that our ads did REALLY well on FB, but now the algorithim is so messed up - designed to get more money from you - so we dropped all FB adds at BTJ. we have not run an add for a while. If you are new or haven't run an add in a while, they will boost you, BUT if you have been doing it for a while - your reach gets weaker and weaker with the hopes that you will spend more and more. that is our experience. oh...and we were also shaddow banned. so yea.

@sinbach does BTJ make use of any other platforms for running ads or has God given BTJ a sneaky new way of doing marketing for all your businesses?

@ajmeintjes we make use of every platform, but at this moment we do not pay for running any adverts - anywhere and have not for a long time.
