Pancakes for brunch today, and slow cooked, lemon and herb rub chicken for dinner later.

We've been making pancakes for Sunday evenings for the best part of 17 years, almost without fail - wonder how many hundreds I've made over the years. A great suggestion in the book - 60 Minute Father which I highly recommend.

And some relaxin and chilling as a family today, finishing our game of poker from yesterday (didn't quite finish it) and another episode of [the original] All Creatures Great and Small.

A good day - and Jo switches to regular Mondays off, so we get a long weekend this weekend :-)

And plenty of fresh lemon juice for both brunch and dinner :-)

Washed down, in between, with milk shake, mixed nuts, Jaffa cakes, lashings of tea...a dreamy and feasty day after a pretty hectic week!

@Berrybunchfamily 17 years? Wow! You must be quite the expert by now 😁

@bethany you'd hope so wouldn't you lol

I usually make a point of flipping at least one each time too...In the book it was suggested doing a late night on a school night...just because

Since we started home educating 7 years ago, it never felt quite the same....but the pancakes stuck ;-)

Late night, memory building, family times are something we do lots of too 🙂
