"While I was wallowing in self-pity, there was a whole world with literally billions of people who had no idea who God is, how amazing He is, and the wonders He has done for us. They are the ones who are really suffering. They don't know the message of the gospel.
But now I knew what it meant to follow God. Now I had found Jesus.
And all suffering is worth it to follow Jesus. He is that amazing."
This has easily become one of my favourite books I've read this year. Highly recommend for those who haven't read it.
@Will look at you with the promo 😉 actually having those in the background wasn't intentional, but you're right. Both books have a very similar journey
@bethany I found a bright Muslim man who was not looking for Jesus God’s Son; but willing to look at the truth and finally accept Jesus as God’s Son and Savior! This book helps you understand both belief and social systems in an honest way!
@richardafaherty it does! It really forces you to walk in the shoes of the other perspective
@bethany YES!! Amazing book!! Totally agree
@bethany yes, great book! So are some of the other ones in the background. Leaving Buddha is very simular and could be called seeking Buddha finding Christ
