@Toolman yes. I mentioned my reason briefly in the second paragraph. But I'm no native english-speaker, so, if I made a mistake and/or you don't understand me I'm happy to explain.
I just don't have much time left for today, might be tomorrow then...
@erdenpilger Okay, I think I understand now. You didn’t like how they portrayed Jesus in the show, right?
@Toolman yes, I find the movies deceptive in their emotionalism and how they portrait Jesus.
When I read the word, it's hard for me now to get his image out of my head which I feel is so unreal. (Too old, long hair, soothing smile, joking around etc.)
@Toolman I mean, to live by emotions is a deeply humane problem. Some people have none, some live by it.
Jesus never lived by emotions, He was led by the Spirit (which is so deeply foreign to US/ME), so, although I cried several times out of joy when I first saw it I later discovered that this (wrong) focus was intended and misleading...
@erdenpilger you raise some fair concerns. I appreciate you sharing them. I’m going to give them some thought.
@Toolman well, I'm honestly amazed. I didn't expect that answer, but I'm glad you gave it. 🙂
@erdenpilger by “at first” do you mean you don’t like it now? If so, why?
