These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. Through the "gates" of thanksgiving, we acknowledge God’s goodness.

Through the "courts" of praise, we acknowledge God’s greatness.

In the "inner sanctuary" of worship, we acknowledge God’s holiness.

When the grace of God is operating in our lives, we are not limited to our own resources. In fact, God’s grace begins just where our own resources end.

As long as we can handle the situation in our own ability, in our own strength and in our own wisdom, we do not need God’s grace.

When we come to the end of our own ability, strength and wisdom, however, that is where God’s grace comes into operation.
