@sinbach curious what percentage of the Chinese Church has remained faithful. I expect God will be faithful to raise the western Church to be just as glorious. So wondering if you have a ballpark figure how many have gone to 3 self patriot church or ceased altogether. Thanks in advance
@gladflicka have no clear percentage. it was a very small number of believers that survived after 1949. most died. even those that eventually went to the 3-Self church to accommodate the government only delayed their misery. The government despised them just as much. most of them eventually died too.
The truth is - those that abandoned the faith suffered. Those that went over to the government sanctioned church suffered. Those that remained faithful suffered.
I wrote a book called "THERE WERE THREE TREES IN THE GARDEN" where i make the argument that we ALL actually suffer. in this world of sin, there is no escaping it. Satan suffered. Christ suffered. sin brings suffering to us all - but Christ suffered for a reason and those that suffer with Him do so with a vision. For those that follow Christ - we are rewarded at the end of our suffering. For those that follow Satan - the only reward for suffering is an eternity of suffering.
