Romans 9:1-2 "I speak the truth in Christ—I am not lying, my conscience confirms it through the Holy Spirit—I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart."

I do not yet know how to carry a burden in my spirit alone. I find if I do not let the Holy Spirit carry it, I am injured by it. Just reading this verse, I can tell the initiative is with the Spirit. The burden is contained in my spirit and governed by the Spirit. The need is urgent for turning to Jesus, both for the saved and the lost. I understand the burden must be initiated by the Spirit. I will look to see where He is working and follow Him there. If I see Him working, it is my invitation to join Him.
