May the Spirit of God move through our streets convicting of sin, righteousness and judgement those who:
-live by their own law and rule through fear and violence
-use distrust and misbeliefs to undermine relationships
-prey on the weak
And may our streets be restored to righteousness (Isa. 58:12).

Heavenly Father
Your people enjoy life in the land (Ps. 27:13). As Your Workmanship, we remember (Ps. 145:7), testify (Ps. 107:1), & fill the Earth with Your good works (Eph. 2:10).
Our hands are blessed to meet our needs & those of the vulnerable (Eph. 4:28). Your excellence is seen despite our challenges (2 Cor. 4:7-10). The work of Your hands -our good works- are enough to challenge all evil agendas.
Any rule, law or policy benefiting the few, while controlling & robbing the masses of the Earth’s resources, is destroyed in heaven and Earth.
Father raise up faithful & sensible stewards to watch over nations & Your house (Mt. 24:45). Lord raise up godly judges all along the food chain who impede the flow of evil. When they are in trouble may they experience the vastness of Your army (2 Kings 6:17).

We approach You in Jesus name. We understand You by Your work (Rom. 1:20) and know You through Your Son (John 17:3).
As nations call for justice, we call for grace - grace is always ahead (Jer. 9:24; Rom. 5:20).

2021, a year of successful ministry. There were moments when we were uncertain which direction to move in-often we were simultaneously led into the throne room to regain our balance, hear Your Word, receive Your perspective and know Your heart.
So at the end of a challenging year like no other, we acknowledge Your help in getting the work done and being in the right place at the right time.
The victory is Your's alone.
... Your Word to steady us and guide us in these times.

As Christians we obey Christ our commanding officer. Paul identified slavery existed in the Roman empire but did not encourage believers to lobby to change social norms. Philemon was encouraged to accept Onesimus as a brother not a slave. Paul reminds us our warfare is not carnal and Christ encouraged us to address concerns in the prayer closet. In Isaiah we read Christ would never be characterized by marches and protests. So regardless of how we feel about child soldiers our focus is not to change the world but share the gospel of peace with the world. We stand against injustice in ways Christ approves. As a hospital we rebuild lives in line with His will. Using our 2 spiritual weapons we fight what opposes His will. As pillar of the truth we publish truth in all nations. We reach out to BOTH victim and perpetrators.

Help us to stop.Wait.Observe.Consider.Be guided by You. You judge the thoughts and intents of hearts not the outer packaging so You choose people of influence tested (1 Ti3:10) and recommended, like Gideon and Daniel, by the audience of One-You. You are the best strategist. You are our reference and standard in ordering our affairs to strategically invest time, money, effort etc. Thank You the New Living Way is not tedious (Mt11:28-30). Heavenly Father,
Today we remember those in prison and being mistreated for Christ's sake (Heb. 13:3).
Thanks for their living sacrifice (Rom. 12:1) as God imitators following Christ's example of preaching to the imprisoned (1 Pet. 3:19).
May they stand firm and immovable always doing the Lord's work vigorously (1 Cor. 15:58) understanding they have received an unshakeable kingdom (Heb. 12:28).
May they know that their service has caused others to be more bold, speaking God's Word fearlessly (Philippians 1:12,14) and has advanced the Good News.
May their dependencies grow in faith in Christ knowing Your presence deeply. This we ask today for Christ's sake and in His name. Amen
