@daniel
I like the WFPB diet as well which is advocated there.
He is one of my favorites πŸ‘

Vegetables πŸ₯¬ πŸ₯¦πŸ₯—πŸ₯”πŸ† πŸ‘

Daniel 1:12-16 πŸ“–

Please test your servants for ten days by providing us with some vegetables to eat and water to drink.

Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who are eating the royal delicacies...

At the end of the ten days their appearance was better and their bodies were healthier than all the young men who had been eating the royal delicacies.

So the warden removed the delicacies and the wine from their diet and gave them a diet of vegetables instead.

Ezekiel 18:23-24 πŸ“–

Do I actually delight in the death of the wicked, declares the sovereign Lord? Do I not prefer that he turn from his wicked conduct and live?

β€œBut if a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and practices wrongdoing according to all the abominable practices the wicked carry out,

will he live?

All his righteous acts will not be remembered; because of the unfaithful acts he has done and the sin he has committed,

he will die.

Candle In The Dark (1998)

My wife and I watched this movie on the life of William Carey and really enjoyed it. So much to learn from this pioneer missionary!
I also went online to read more about his life. Did you know he married 3 times?

"He sailed to India in 1793 with a reluctant wife and four children to bring the message of Jesus. There he encountered so much hardship it is amazing he didn't abandon his mission and go home. But he stayed for over 40 years..."

Lamentations 3:37-41 πŸ“–

Who can speak a thing and have it come to pass, unless the Lord has commanded it?

Doesn't both calamity and good come out of the mouth of the Most High?

Why does a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins? NUN

Let us examine and search our ways, and return to the LORD.

Let us lift up our heart with our hands to God in the heavens.

These things are examples to us

Lamentations 1:8-9 πŸ“–
Χ— (Khet)

Jerusalem committed terrible sin; therefore she became an object of scorn. All who admired her have despised her because they have seen her nakedness. She groans aloud and turns away in shame.

ט (Tet)

Her menstrual flow has soiled her clothing;

she did not consider the consequences of her sin.

Her demise was astonishing, and there was no one to comfort her. She cried, β€œLook, O Lord, on my affliction because my enemy boasts!”

I am so glad to hear this wonderful news πŸ™Œ
Sorry I missed reading it before now

Jeremiah 31:35-37 πŸ“–

The Lord has made a promise to Israel.

He promises it as the one who fixed the sun to give light by day and the moon and stars to give light by night. He promises it as the one who stirs up the sea so that its waves roll. He promises it as the one who is known as the Lord who rules over all.

The Lord affirms, β€œThe descendants of Israel will not cease forever to be a nation in my sight. That could only happen if the fixed ordering of the heavenly lights were to cease...”

2 CHRONICLES 7:13-14: πŸ“–

When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people,

if My people who are called by My name will

humble themselves,

and pray and seek My face,

and turn from their wicked ways,

then

I will hear from heaven,

and will forgive their sin

and heal their land.

"Attention is the building block of intimacy, but many of us are finding our computers and cell phones more irresistible than quality time with God. It is not overt rejection that repels God’s presence, but rather momentary distraction with lesser things." - George Otis Jr

2 Timothy 3:1-5 πŸ“–

But understand this, that in the last days difficult times will come.

For people will be lovers of themselves,

lovers of money,

boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,

unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, savage, opposed to what is good,

treacherous, reckless, conceited, loving pleasure rather than loving God.

They will maintain the outward appearance of religion...avoid people like these.

Jeremiah 23:14-15, 17 (WEB) πŸ“–

In the prophets of Jerusalem I have also seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery and walk in lies. They strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one returns from his wickedness....

They say continually to those who despise me, β€˜Yahweh has said, β€œYou will have peace;”’ and to everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart they say, β€˜No evil will come on you.’

Jeremiah 3:12-14 πŸ“–

....β€˜Come back to me, wayward Israel,’ says the Lord. β€˜I will not continue to look on you with displeasure. For I am merciful,’ says the Lord. β€˜I will not be angry with you forever.

However, you must confess that you have done wrong, and that you have rebelled against the Lord your God. You must confess that you have given yourself to foreign gods under every green tree, and have not obeyed my commands,’ says the Lord.

β€œCome back to me...

Zechariah 8:2-3, 7 πŸ“–

β€œThe Lord who rules over all says, β€˜I am very much concerned for Zion; indeed, I am so concerned for her that my rage will fall on those who hurt her.’

The Lord says, β€˜I have returned to Zion and will live within Jerusalem.

Now Jerusalem will be called β€œtruthful city,” β€œmountain of the Lord who rules over all,” β€œholy mountain.”’

β€œThe Lord who rules over all asserts, β€˜I am about to save my people from the lands of the east and the west.
