'CDC’s Legendary Chief Virus Investigator Found Dead

Sherif Zaki, one of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) leading virus investigators, has been found dead, according to reports.

Zaki was the CDC’s chief infectious disease detective who helped identify the Covid-19, Ebola, West Nile and Zika viruses.

According to friends and family, he “died suddenly and unexpectedly”

A native of Alexandria, Egypt, Zaki would have turned 66 on Wednesday.
