I always notice errors in my post afterwards... both typos and grammars. Sometimes I use the same prepositions as in my mother tongue Swedish. Most prepositions are actually the same. Many idioms and expressions are even the same, so I can translate what I want to say directly from my head. But some are not, and I might notice my errors after posting. We even have many similar words, so I sometimes spell them Swedish, like using a K instead of C.
@tanjaostman I get what you're saying...which is the point
When I was younger my French accent was apparently like a native, and those I spoke to always knew what I was saying when in France on school trips
But my technical ability was truly awful...I failed my alevel and almost failed my GCSE french
This frustrated my peers and teachers no end, with their far more correct french, when I was understood and they were not
Nothing like that to knock down pride a bit
I just enjoyed it even though I wasn't technically proficient at all
