the 4 guys running it had had their lives changed by a book (not the bible, which would have made some sense)
i was sat next to a lovely, godly, friend; we were getting whiplash listening to them butcher scripture
when they told us that "all men are aggressive, like contact sport & use porn" we did feedback that generalisations aren't helpful
i challenged one of their points (don't remember now) because it was SO off. they told me that most people would have known what they meant - i said that wasn't ok!
when we were all told to go outside & stand on our own, & let our minds to whatever thoughts came along, my friend and I walked together praying for people instead
I left before the end of the first full day
we'd have preferred some worship, testimonies, basic [biblical] teaching and a curry
books can be great. but life changing encounters need rooting in scripture, not feelings
