The pictures to the left: Women in Afghanistan, some decades ago and today. Pictures to the right: Iranian women some decades ago and today. I found this on Soheila Fors' FB page. She is from Iran (lives in Sweden), so I trust what she's telling (even if I can't read the text myself).

Be faithful in the little things! God can open doors for you in his timing - he knows when you are ready. Be yourself and focus on what God has put in your heart, even if you would be misunderstood by other people. Shouldn't we be more focused on praying God's will be done in other people's lives, than making our own judgments about them? My experience is that God chooses unlikely people anyway... that he will be glorified, not we.

I don't know who's the artist, because I found it in a Telegram group.

I have finally received my order from UK! I made the order on Dec 10th. But it has been stuck är the Finnish customs since Dec 30th, because UK is not in EU. Merry Christmas back to you BTJ! @bethany and @sinobach It was worth the wait and the extra fee to the customs - they were cheap anyway (books are never that cheap here). Finally I found out that the smuggler's hat isn't a smuggler hat. And I thought that I would get super powers by becoming a Ninja. 🤣 😜

Please tell me when to stop sharing winter pictures! This winter started early and is going to be long... We don't travel far or participate in much, due to covid. I am a lot outdoors enjoying nature instead.

We have just played Ticket to ride! It's a fun board game. There are a lot of games with the same name but different maps (the same rules). We chose to buy a game with the USA map. Nowadays children play so much on their phones and computers, that they need to learn real board games! Do you have any favorite board game? 🤔

We have been shoveling snow for around 7 weeks already, and it's only the beginning of the winter. Sometimes we get the first snow that stays on the ground around Christmas or New Year. 2-3 months still to go with snow. Now it's at least half a meter.

Latte art by my husband. He bought an espresso machine almost a year ago, and has ever since practiced brewing and latte art. The machine is very manual and he has learnt about coffee beans (you grind them every time you make a new cup of coffee), optimal temperatures, milk etc. He's a great barista! I have even learnt to drink coffee (latte) as 40+ thanks to this tasty coffee.

The shadow is me - around noon today. 😀 The sun is never even close to zenith in Finland. We always have long shadows, but the longest around winter solstice.

Sunset at 3 PM. Such a beautiful day - again! Epiphany is a holiday in Finland (is it in your country?), so we have had a day off from work and enjoyed nature.

Me and my family in hand-knitted jumpers. My mother-in-law has knitted them, so she wanted us to take a picture.

People getting arrested in NY for eating out without c-passports.
