@MaryMamuzich How ever did you do that?. Is there a book or something that explains it? I've grown Romaine in a bowl of water from some I bought at the store.
@Kruselady it was a gift for Christmas from a special gal who knew I was missing gardening. It's called AeroGarden. It's so fun I also have herbs growing beside the tomatoes that I can clip from.
@Berrybunchfamily @MaryMamuzich @Kruselady You know, if you grow your own fresh herbs and dry them, then put them in a jar, they can retain so much flavor. I have been amazed by the difference between dried basil purchased in a jar and dried basil from my own backyard! I don't know how many times better is the basil from our backyard, but it is enough of a difference to cause me to wonder where the flavor in the store-bought dried basil has gone. The drying alone isn't what removed the flavor, but something surely did!
@Cherishingsparrows2020 @MaryMamuzich @Kruselady i never thought of doing that ourselves...will have to look into it

@Cherishingsparrows2020 @Berrybunchfamily @Kruselady I always grow my own herbs and dry them. Just enough to last until early summer when my new herbs are grown. I've had to purchase some and I agree! No flavor or smell....how old are they anyway!!!!
@MaryMamuzich @Cherishingsparrows2020 @Berrybunchfamily probably older then me or my grandma
@Cherishingsparrows2020 @Berrybunchfamily @MaryMamuzich probably their age or quality of plants
