@tymektt for me personally, I have a long list of websites that I go through every morning. I spend four hours or more per day going through news and doing research for our articles and often read the news in 3 different languages to get a feel for American, European, Asian and international news for Africa and Middle East.
For American domestic news I do one left wing and one right wing site. I do them in order - for instance 1. Drudgereport 2. The Blaze 3. Huffpost. 4. Breitbard. 5. CNN. 6 Foxnews.
I REALLY enjoy Daily Wire
But few websites do the journalism as well as The Guardian and the Daily Mail - those two British sources give the most details on any major event! I spend the most time with those two websites. BY FAR!
I also go to NYPOST every day as well as the Washington Times.
But if I had ONLY one to choose from it would be a difficult choice between the Guardian and Daily Mail.
A question I wondered and didn't know where to look for.
Thanks Eugene for your input on this one.
The Daily Mail is an interesting choice to me as a Brit, cos we'd usually class that as gutter press or tabloid, due to all the sensational headlines they tend to go for. They certainly do cover a very wide variety of stories though.
The Guardian is clearly very liberal/socialist leaning. But their journalism does tend to be a bit higher quality - which makes reading it far easier!
Reminding me of a good memory though - buying the Guardian on a Saturday morning and reading it in bed with my wife, while sharing the various supplements that came with it, back in the day when it was still a broadsheet paper (if and when we got a Saturday together!)
Following this post with interest.
