@sinbach Yeah unfortunately.. I'm waiting for Trump's Truth Social.. The Code is based on mastodon code so more decentralized. End of February :) The other networks will lose their minds being unable to censor as much.. Oh my! 🙂

@sinbach Interesting! Telegram is a different type app, but I thought it was supposed to be secure and free speech as well. I was so surprised when I tapped on a link to a Telegram channel and got a message that I couldn't access it because it didn't follow the rules for the Telegram app from Google Play. I learned that to access that channel, I would need to download the version of the app directly from Telegram's web page. I didn't do this, so don't know exactly what that channel was about but....Telegram doesn't feel as much like a free speech app to me anymore! Now I'm wondering about other apps.

@sinbach thank you for the information. I just signed up for GETTR a few weeks ago but haven’t posted anything yet. I will lay low with that platform and see what transpires.

@sinbach how about GAB? Thoughts on that platform?

@sinbach Hi there. Thought your podcast was great. Had a question for you. I tell my friends about ding dash all of the time. My friend wanted to set up a private church group which I don’t think you can do here??? He did like this platform though. I have heard good things about Gab as well. My friend just set his group up on MeWe though. Is MeWe just as bad as the rest?

@sinbach I think the point about using Gettr is to diversify. The more there is competition and alternatives, the better these platforms need to behave. So we shouldn't blindly trust any one platform but rather use multiple ones.
