@sinbach I know lots of men who I know would easily die for me, but I only know 1 brother who would try to stick by me even if it hurt him. I am and want to be the one who is ready both to die and live and endure pain, but I also want to do it with joy.
"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." -Hebrews 12:2
This is only possible by the power of the Holy Spirit. If you have Him, you are ready even if you don't know it. The question is do you have Him? The way you know is if you have totally surrendered and He keeps you holy.
