and we're back to this evil! why does this woman have an obsession of personally hunting down and identifying every child in the country?

she needs psychological help!

@MaryMamuzich there's always a push to do that in the UK unfortunately

We've seen 2 big pushes in our lifetime, and both failed, thankfully

At one level I feel it is just a matter of time...people don't care enough to stand against their efforts to 'keep children safe'

They love that approach, as it always sounds so sensible....but is simply a way in the home

@MaryMamuzich @Berrybunchfamily And, to think that schools are, by default, a safe place for children? That is a huge assumption.
I believe most families who choose to homeschool do so because they care far more about their own child or children's education and general well-being than a system ever could. There are some very unfortunate exceptions and it seems those seeking control over the population love to use these exceptions to further their cause. But, what about the terrible things that sometimes happen in schools? It's such a precious privilege to have a choice in how and where our children are educated! It's not a one-size-fits-all kind of thing.
I'm so glad you still have the opportunity to homeschool! We are a homeschooling family as well.
