@Rinati Truly! Two days ago I was feeling a bit troubled and thinking about the seeming success of evil schemes. I was eager to get alone with Jesus to hear His voice of truth. At that moment a friend texted Psalm 37:7. I was moved. Right after this I was able to spend time in prayer. I also read the rest of Psalm 37. So powerful! I wanted to read a particular account in the Bible, but wasn't sure where it was found and didn't want to get my phone to search. I looked in my Bible and in turning the pages, felt led to read 2 Chronicles 20 instead. Wow! What a beautiful example of God's faithfulness! I was again moved. As I prayed, I asked God to keep our feet from the snare of the enemy and light our path with His Word as in Psalm 119: 105. Later in the day I read this same verse was on a daily flip calendar! I was moved. In the evening, my husband was listening to the scriptures in his daily reading plan. He told me 2 Chronicles 20 was in his readings for the day! Not a coincidence

Note that the image search I used on Yahoo.com is from Proverbs 14 today -- for the day of the month.
That is much how I do my daily reading and bible study. I supplement it with images to encourage me and build me up. I use them as screen savers and on social media each day too.
There are several on-line resources biblegateway and biblehub are two of them -- free to use. I like the King James or New American Standard. But most any translation is pretty accurate.

I don't wish to get caught up in debate, but I'm not understanding what the objection is to names of our God in another language, specifically Hebrew. There are many languages on this earth and God's Word says there will be people in Heaven from every one of them.

Our God is faithful. May this brother receive strong relief, healing, and the needed rest and support. May He be encouraged as only Holy Spirit can encourage. May he not give in to the depression but also not be ashamed in the struggle. Many of the biblical heroes also experienced depression.
