Religion and politics, for instance, are two parallel lines that can't meet. They're immiscible. But the principles of the kingdom of God can effectively mix with religion, governance, culture, sports, business, etc.
This was why Jesus likened the kingdom of God to a leaven which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened (Matthew 13:33).
I believe that our institutions can be salvaged from the powers of darkness if we the children of the kingdom can introduce the kingdom lifestyle in the various secular spheres - music, catering, sports, education, culture, fashion, finance, business, etc.
The holiest and greatest angels can't live in this evil world as humans. That's the reason why angels respect humans, especially those who have been redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb and who're no more under the dominion of sin and Satan. Beloved, to be alive and standing at this time proves that you're a hero. Please celebrate yourself even if no one does.
I always see INFLUENCE as a unique class of the anointing. Influence can easily do what the anointing may not do. It's reported by some media that Saudi Arabia is willing to bend their marriage law just to permit Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, live together, even though they're not married.
The children of the kingdom of God must always aspire to excel in various sectors of life so as to be able to wield influence in the world. Kingdom influence is God's strategy for the spreading of His kingdom even in the most difficult terrains.
We once had need for a volunteer missionary to be resident in one of our mission fields. By my calculations, I contacted a Christian brother whom I thought would be the best person for that role. But the brother politely declined after weeks of prayer to know the mind of the Lord. Honestly, I felt sad and disappointed. I was wondering why the Lord didn't touch this brother to agree to work with us as a missionary.
A few months later, I realized that the brother's decline of my offer was one of the best things that ever happened to our mission work. Another brother who was the most suitable for the role cane by himself to volunteer his services as a missionary. We have witnessed great results in just few months.
Today, if I see the other brother who rejected our proposal, I'll like to shake hands with him for his decision.
Sometimes, we should learn to celebrate it when people turn us down. They turned you down just because they don't qualify to fill up that vacancy in your life.

Thanks for taking time to read through it. God bless you.
Lord, this sound that You hear
Is the voice of my faith;
In broken soul's anguish,
Clinging on You lest I perish;
Lord, the sound from this altar
Is the groaning of my faith.
Lord, these tears on Your feet
Are the droplets of my faith;
Streams of my love for Thee,
Break through the hardness in me;
Lord, the liquid in my eyes
Is the content of my faith.
Lord, this vow that I make
Is the promise of my faith;
Thy will and purpose is my pursuit,
Worldly trusts and ambitions I refute;
Lord, this pledge that I make
Is the token of my faith.
Lord, this song in Your ears
Is the joy of my faith;
Through Thy staff and Thy rod,
My joy blossoms like Aaron's rod;
Lord, this music that You hear
Is the melody of my faith.
Lord, this life that I live
Is the life of my faith;
Walking and working before Thy face,
To receive daily supply of Thy grace;
Lord, this breath that I breathe
Is the breath of my faith.
Christ is both a Gift and a Prize. As God's Gift, we're to receive Him by faith. But as a Prize to be won, it will cost us everything we have to win Him. You can freely receive this Gift if you've not done so. And if you have, are you willing to happily lose all you have to win Christ?
"Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ." Philippians 3:8

MY GOLD, MY MYRRH, MY FRANKINCENSE
Lord souls are my Gold
Hearts flayed by moral failure
Feet manacled in hell’s allure
Hands shackled in sufferings untold
I offer them to You as my Gold
True, eternal and pure.
My tears are my Myrrh
Dropping from my heart’s hearth
To preserve the treasure in this jar of earth
Droplets: bitter-sweet
Liquid: "cold-heat"
Substance: hearty and meet
This is the lyrics on my lyre.
On my knees I offer my Frankincense
Garbed in my priestly ephod
And enabled by the Spirit’s effort
Its fragrance rises to Your throne
As the particles awaken the drugged in sin
My incense is frank and quickens my sense
Happy birthday my Lord and my Own.

What an epitaph! And what if I add, "King of heaven and of earth"?
The main reason why Jesus was born also became His main accusation that led to His crucifixion. Jesus was born to be the King of His kingdom on earth. This new kingdom is to be established in the hearts of regenerated men and women.
"Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice." John 18:37
The accusation against Jesus that was hung over His head on the cross was, "THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS." Matthew 27:37
Did you know that church growth doesn't necessarily imply the growth of God's kingdom? The church is an agency of God's kingdom and whenever church growth doesn't translate to kingdom growth, it means that ecclesiastical emperors have hijacked the church and converted it to their personal empires.
The Christhood of Jesus Christ was ordained by God fundamentally to establish God's kingdom on earth. The church was established on earth strictly to spearhead this project.
When God seems to delay in answering your desperate prayer, watch out, He's up to doing an unprecedented work in your life.
"When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby... When he (Jesus) had heard therefore that he (Lazarus) was sick, he (Jesus) abode two days still in the same place where he (Jesus) was." John 11:4, 6
