A lght is of no use unless it is shone on darkness and shared.

Sometimes as Christians we have to stand alone against a sinful world being persecuted, tis post says it well.

It is one of my favourites too Andy. It is easy to apply in good times, but the real trial of faith comes in standing by it in hard times. @Berrybunchfamily

As with Jonathan and his armor bearer, when we are being led by the Holy Spirit, we're looking for an opportunity to serve - not the pleasant shade of a pomegranate tree. (1 Samuel 14:1-2)

Romans Chapter 8:15-16
For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear. Instead, you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father!” The Spirit himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s children

Under the Law you required 2 testimonies in order for something to be true. Here Paul tells us that we are children of God and we have 2 that testify to that fact, ourselves and the Holy Spirit. Together with the Holy Spirit we can cry out to God like a child crying out for their father, and we have nothing to fear when we are safely in the arms of our Father.

Be consistent, faithful and obedient... for it is better to have little honor and a servant than to have glory and no bread. (Proverbs 12:9)

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." -John 16:33 🌎❤💪

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When night settles down on a church the Lord has his watchers and holy ones still guarding his truth, and these must not be discouraged, but must bless the Lord even when the darkest hours draw on. — Charles Spurgeon

The LORD will command His lovingkindness in the daytime; and His song will be with me in the night, a prayer to the God of my life. Psalm 42:8 (NASB)

Whatever work you do, put yourself into it, as those who are serving not merely other people, but the Lord. Remember that as your reward, you will receive the inheritance from the Lord. You are slaving for the Lord, for the Messiah.
