What ultimately accounts for the failure of the false prophet to think clearly is the fact that he is deliberately determined to defend himself and to think well of himself.
Pride is the root cause of the trouble.
The view of the false prophet starts with the postulate that whatever else may be the cause of the troubles in life, it is not man himself.
The blessedness, the happiness, the joy is something that will result from our seeking righteousness and from our becoming righteous.

Almighty and gracious God and Father,
we know you are the God of compassion and faithful love.
We know Jesus was a living demonstration of your love for all people.
We beg, we plead, that the animosity of people toward Christians today can be overcome through our acts of genuine and loving compassion demonstrated toward the least, the last, and the lost of our time.
May we be known as people who not only love each other, but also love those whom our world overlooks, shuns, and forgets.

Please pray for an aged Gospel worker, he remained a bachelor to care for orphans.
Left his homeland and settled among the people group he adopted.
He is on treatment for prostate related issues. Restless and sad as there are no visitors. Dementia, even gets paranoid sometimes.
Please pray for Divine health and peace.

It is already Mother's Day in China and I have to say, few things in this world have motivated me to work harder, focus more, and do everything humanly possible in life to be a better man, father, husband and provider than witnessing the miracle of my wife take on the role of a loving nurturing mother.
In this life, I have never witnessed anything more inspiring or more worthy of protecting. If I lived a 100 lives, I could sacrifice them all and still NOT have the impact she has had as a mother.

@sinbach Thanks for sharing! I was about to share exactly the same article, but you did it first. This is really alarming and quite shocking. We are talking about Finland, not countries like Sweden, Holland, England… I have followed Päivi for a while, and I haven’t found her behavior or writings provocative, inappropriate or hateful etc. She treats others with respect! She hasn’t used her power as a minister or member of Parliament for any agendas or propaganda… like some leftists. She criticized the State Church (where she is a member) for participating in the Pride parade, in a tweet! And she has expressed her opinions about marriage, when people have asked. She wrote a booklet, for Christians, many years ago, that is scrutinized now. I think she hasn’t even shared it on internet. This is just the mafia method to silence all critical voices!! Her case has already been going on for a couple of years, and she is strong. But pray for Päivi, for righteous outcomes – that justice wins!
