Unbelievable story! We met a 60 year old lady settled in UK.
She was born in Nepal, married off to an Indian at the age of 5 (FIVE) ... several abortions followed . (Only 1 child survived, become an adult and married).
The big shock of her life was the diagnosis of lung cancer to his non-smoking husband.
When everything failed, they reached a Christian Hospital. LSShort; they accepted Christ. Husband died. Wife returned to in-laws house. They arranged people to beat her up and throw in the nearby river.
Next day few people heard the cries of a toddler near a half dead lady. Taken to a nearby Christian medical facility, recovery took several months. Become a cleaner / Janitor in the hospital to pay off the debt.
Trouble started again father in law , who was a Police officer found out that she is alive.
People disowned her. Reached Kathmandu and nobody helped her and the child (initially).Started living in the pavement, survived by begging and working.
John 3:16 was the ( contd

John 3:16 was the only link to her faith, which she never stopped sharing. Soon she found herself leading a church of homeless people in Kathmandu.

Produced many more spiritual children.
Everyday she shares food and Gospel with the people on the street.

One of our Elders decided to meet the leaders for prayer and study of the scriptures.
First meeting after the P(l)andemic. Above 200 gathered, mostly from Buddhist background. Though expensive many hired taxis and reached the location for 2 days of prayer. Some walked several hours across the mountains to reach the main highway.
