Communism is a dark and deadly parody of Christianity.

Got the cover illustration today for the upcoming book on Esther & Mordecai. Aimed at an older YA fantasy crowd. Thoughts?

Perfect love casts out all fear.
-St. John

Fear not, for I am with you.
-Jesus

Socrates taught that a man doesn’t do right because he doesn’t understand it.

Jesus taught that a man doesn’t do right because he refuses to understand it.

‘Anyone who does not honour the Son does not honour the Father who sent Him.’

-Jesus

In the long run, it may be the choices we think of as ‘private’ that most shape our character—and therefore our destiny.

God is eternal and young.
Sin has made us temporary and old.

Repentance mourns past foolishness, but has hope for change in the future.
Remorse has no hope—it is stuck in the past.

@Joshua_D_Jones this will go well with breakfast! 🤩 it arrived! And it made a round trip Poland - Great Britain - Poland 😂

How's our church doing amidst the panic-demic?

We reopened early in every way short of engaging in criminal activity. We meet outside our building on Sunday so we can sing and not require anyone to wear a mask.

The results are mixed. Some stay home and watch our live broadcast. But we've also had new people join as they share our priority of physically gathering. Some of the new people will return to their churches when they open. Some will stay with us permanently.

Thinking that you deserve to be in heaven is evidence that you probably aren't headed there.

Be slow to judge. We'll each have plenty of our own sin to give account of before the Judgement Seat.

"It is no small comfort to the saints that this world is the worst place that they shall ever be in."

John Flavel

I have the uncomfortable feeling that, regardless of who I vote for in the next election, the government might still get in.

'When we look at the ungodly, we are not to hate them, but to pity them, mourn over them & pray for them.'
