“IT WAS FOR FREEDOM THAT CHRIST SET US FREE.”
Galatians 5:1

But how did Christ set us free? By suffering for the sake of truth! This is still the key to our freedom; we must walk and talk and live in the truth, no matter the cost.

“The Messiah set us free so that we can enjoy freedom! So stand firm, and don’t get yourselves tied down by chains of slavery.” Galatians 5:1

How does a Christian read this and then still conclude that politics is “beneath us”? Humans were made to be free. Christ followers hold the key that sets people AND nations free. Nations, after all, are simply large groups of individuals and communities. It makes no sense for Christians to be silent in the political arena. In fact, it is a great disservice to do so.

Over two thousand years ago, the father of lies tried to torture, distort and bury the Truth in the ground. But after three days, the liar’s scheme blew up in it’s face! Let’s celebrate the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, and truth over lies today. Jesus is alive now and forever!

HAPPY EASTER!!

Do you want revival? Take a significant step that way: meet people in person, take off your mask, hug people, pray and worship. Small beginnings, significant beginnings.

The Church's freedom isn't provided by the Government; It is the Church (if only her members would grasp this!) that protects the freedom of people from over-reaching governments. Jesus is Lord and ALL authority is His.

“The time is coming, you see, when everyone in the tombs will hear his voice. They will come out-those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgement.” —Jesus (John 5:28-29)

If you see a need, address it if it is within your power to do so. This is the essence of Christian mission.

Prayer often has a delayed effect, even years long delay, but every earnest prayer gets heard and answered. Remember your prayers, write them down, and watch God answer.

“That’s why I’m telling you, everything you request in prayer, everything you ask God for, believe that you receive it, and it will happen for you.” —Jesus (Mark 11:24)

You know, Republican Senators may think they are really noble to “fight” against the leftist agenda, but if they had done their jobs and looked into the voter fraud of 2020, they wouldn’t be having much to fight today. Fix the 2020 election. Remove the foreign powers from Washington.

@erdenpilger I am sorry, but that is not Biblical. That kind of thinking has much more to do with Plato than Jesus. Jesus taught His followers to pray saying, “...Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, ON EARTH as it is in heaven...”
Escapism is not noble.

@erdenpilger Yes, I am sure.
The logic behind your argument suggests that God created a physical world, including ourselves, with the main objective being an escape from it! Why does Jesus heal the sick and raise the dead if “this world is not my home”? Why does the Psalmist say “The earth is the Lord’s?” If we are supposed to treat it like it has no value? Why does Revelation say that God will “destroy those who destroy the earth,” if God intends to destroy the earth Himself? And why did God see all that He has made and say “it is good”? Are we suppose to disagree with Him?

What right have you, as a servant of the Messiah, to ignore the plight of sex-slaves, the killing of babies, or the anti-Christ agenda of communists? Where is your compassion?
