@Berrybunchfamily we have a “Jo-Jo”
In our family too. :)
This is absolute tyranny practiced by our own DOJ

Jesus rules with absolute but subtle power. He doesn’t dominate or dictate our lives, but still, His ultimate purposes will not be thwarted.
Under the rule and reign of Christ, we have a tremendous amount of freedom. We are given enough rope to hang ourselves if we insist, but we are also given enough grace to repent and turn our lives around if we choose. Many personal choices are ours, but the final outcome of all things is His.
Should Christians get involved in politics? That is an absurd question with an obvious answer but we have been condition to fail to see it.
Should Christians manage their finances, follow traffic laws, or recognize their neighbor’s property lines? If the answer is “yes,” than Christians are called to involve themselves in politics.
Government is the process through which the world is ordered. Who but Christ knows how to order the world in a beneficial way for all mankind? Why should we leave the management of the world to idol worshipers when Jesus Himself said that “all authority in heaven and earth has been given to Me” (Matthew 28:18)?
Should we tolerate the world’s denial of Christ’s authority?
@Knittinggrace Yup. This is a major problem. Muddied water isn’t life-giving water.
@His_story Thank you for the encouragement!
This is an outstanding truth:
“God didn’t send the son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved by Him.” John 3:17
This is still true right now. God has no passion to condemn us for our failures. Failures are condemnation enough. It is not as though we were doing great before Jesus showed up and made us feel guilty. No. We are lost on our own, like sheep without a shepherd. God does not need nor desire to add to the condemnation. God sent Jesus to rescue us from our failures. Wow. That’s pretty amazing.
What we should be learning right now is that freedom doesn’t come from a system. Systems can be good but they only work if people have integrity. Only people who fear God have integrity because they do what is right when only God can see.
Conclusion: Freedom and the rule of law are born and preserved through reverence for God.
