How to see a miracle
“You really are a little-faith lot!” Jesus said. “Why are you discussing with each other that you haven’t got any bread?” Matthew 16:8
Different things happen for different people because all do not pray alike and all do not have the same faith.
God will honor our choices and our prayers. One person makes a choice based on economics. They say “I was forced to make this decision.” Another person, in the same circumstances, does not accept that answer. Their choice is based upon principle and faith. This second person makes the “foolish” decision and the vulnerable decision. This second person gets to see the glory of God in answered prayer. The first person will never be sure that God is listening to their prayers until they enter a place where answered prayer is their only salvation. You must choose this risk over security. Walk on that water.
“I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13
The current government regime in America is against the will of the people. We are being cheated, lied too, stolen from, bullied, and ignored. I pray for deliverance.
What holds back deliverance? Our sin. How can God deliver us from liars and thieves if we are lying and cheating too?
The Western Church has not preached morality for a long time out of fear that someone might accuse us of “works-based righteousness.” The result is a lack of morality. We should have seen that coming.
We need to cry out for God to heal our land and deliver us from evil. God will respond to that prayer when our “amen” includes our own repentance from compromise.
“Come close to God and He will come close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded...Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.” James 4:8,10
Is this evidence of what I mused about this morning? Yes! I think so!

We are living during the buying season.
They say that the time to invest in the stock market is when stock is dropping and everyone else is selling. When that happens, your emotions tell you to stay away or to get out of the market because it is failing. But experienced stock investors buy in those moments because they have faith that the stock market will rebound and they will make a profit for buying when the price was low.
I believe that we are living in a cultural moment when it seems that all is failing. Many Christians perceive a dark future. But I believe that we are at the brink of a great harvest.
Every day is the right time to sow the seeds of the Gospel but I believe we are living in a particular moment in history when God’s people will be highly rewarded for investing heavily in the kingdom of God.
It’s just a thought. It’s a hunch.
But when the rains come, make sure your garden has been tilled and sown with seed so that you don’t miss the harvest.
North Koreans continue to risk their lives and imprisonment in China, to escape the growing famine in their own country.

“Think through what’s going to be pleasing to the Lord. Work it out.”
Ephesians 5:10
I love this.
Work it out.
Think it through.
Feelings are important and we should always factor them in with all seriousness. But work it out in your mind too. What is the will of God? To give life. To bring order. To defend the defenseless. To be generous. To reconcile all things to Himself.
It’s not rocket science.
Saturday is the day Planned Parenthood kills children. What is the will of God for us on Saturday? Would Jesus invest time and effort to save children and rescue mothers?
Work it out.
Think it through.
Make a plan.
Do God’s will on Saturday and every day.
A Chinese Christian leader recently told his congregation:
“Of course the government is watching you, and even listening to you in your own home! So make sure that what they are seeing is a true disciple of Christ!”
This is the attitude to take. We are not backing down. We are fully trusting in God’s sovereignty over what they do or don’t do to us. We are in the hands of the risen Jesus and He will never leave us nor forsake us.
Be bold.
Decisions or Disciples?
Some people have pointed out that Jesus called us to make disciples while modern evangelicals focused on generating decisions. Some evangelicals will proudly declare “we had 17 decisions for Christ today!” The question is, did we make disciples?
We are called to make disciples not decisions, yet you can’t become a disciple without making a decision, can you? The general decision to surrender your life to Christ is the first and most important decision which leads to many, many, more decisions which transform us into disciples.
So, do we seek decisions or disciples? Yes, we do.
Why does the election fraud matter so much to Christians? Because it is a matter of justice, peace, and safety. Every lie is meant to veil evil. The bigger the lie, the more profound the evil. The “election” of Joe Biden is a HUGE and desperate lie. The evil that they are hiding is bigger than the lie and cannot remain hidden.
The Bible says, “...be sure your sin will find you out.” Numbers 32:23.
What are they hiding? Do you see it yet?

As long as we believe the lie that secularism is the basis of our freedom, we will continue our slide into totalitarianism.
There is no such thing as secularism. There is only paganism and Jesus. Every other god is an idol that cannot hear, see, or speak. The Psalmist says that those who make idols will become like them. Censorship restrains you from hearing, seeing, and speaking. We must be worshiping idols. We need to repent.
America is a Christian and a free nation or America is an enslaved nation. Choose this day whom you will serve.
