"We know that there is only one answer when our country demands that we share in the price of freedom - yet when the Lord asks us to pay the price for world evangelization, we often answer without a word. We cannot go, we say it costs too much" --Nate Saint, A Martyred Missionary

Richard Wurmbrand is in my top 3 of Christian Heroes. I am reading his book "In God's Underground" for the fourth time. It is that good. Here is one of the remarkable stories found in that book.

Once we accept that it is the role of every believer to heal and cast out demons; we are finally ready to start asking practical questions about how to do it. Enough debates about “if” we can do it. It’s time to get to the questions of “how.”

For example:
“How do we recognize the presence of a demon?”

Any thoughts?

We will not be surprised at the state of things in our world when we realize that we sidelined the most basic mandates from Jesus.
If more of us were engaged in deliverance ministry, maybe the shooter in Texas would have received deliverance a long time ago? We can do more to solve the problem of evil than anyone else in the world. That is not being prideful; that is being factual. The Church is God’s solution to the problem of evil. “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:27).

Are you tired of me rattling on about healing? It is funny how we have often regulated healing to a sideline of Christianity, a kind of option for Christians with more eccentric tastes. But the goal of the Gospel is to heal the world. Healing is the heart and soul of the Gospel.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Not perish-live instead = healing

Jesus called His twelve disciples...and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out and to heal every disease and every sickness.
Matthew 10:1

We will be hosting this event at our house today. Your prayers for us would be greatly appreciated! We expect a large crowd. We want to see miracles of healing and deliverance; body, heart, and soul.
We will be missing the presence of @sinbach Maybe next time...

“God opposes the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6

This is probably one of the most unappreciated scriptures in the Bible. When I remember that God opposes my pride, it motivates me to embrace humility. Apart from Him, after all, I can do nothing.

"God never intended for revival, (for moves of God) to be temporary experiences.
When we experience revival, we are returning to normal Christianity." —Bill Johnson

Note to self:
Political corruption cannot stop the work of the Holy Spirit.

Everyone is sick in some way.
Everyone needs healing.
Everyone needs patience and grace.
Everyone is loved by God.
Not everyone believes it.

Before a man is renewed by the Holy Spirit, weakness in others presents an opportunity for advantage. But Jesus turns this upside down.

Jesus had all the advantage and chose to appear weak to serve the weak.

“This is how you should think among yourselves – with the mind that you have because you belong to the Messiah, Jesus:

Who, though in God’s form, did not regard his equality with God
as something he ought to exploit.

Instead, he emptied himself,
and received the form of a slave,
being born in the likeness of humans. And then, having human appearance,he humbled himself, and became obedient even to death, yes, even the death of the cross.”
Philippians 2:5-8

“No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him.” John 1:18
