I am reading the Gospel of John 1-8 for my devotional today. What are you reading?

“Jesus will not deliver you from your friends. Why should He? Jesus will only deliver you from your enemies. So make sin your enemy.” --Derek Prince

Good Morning, Friends!
We are going through the Gospel of Matthew in our fellowship we call "The Father's House." These are a few of my notes on Matthew 24 as I get ready for this weekend. I think you will find it thought provoking,

America needs a wall built. The Church is mainly responsible for leaving our borders unguarded, and a flood of evil has migrated into our lives, families, and nation. It's time for a great deportation. Every evil spirit: remove yourself from the United States of America and go to the pit. We lift a standard over the United States. The banner says, “belonging to the Lord God of Hosts and Jesus of Nazareth.” We plead the blood of Jesus over Washington, DC, and the four corners of the United States of America. We belong to Yahweh, and we claim this land as the inheritance of the Lord! Lord, we say yes to holiness, a wall of defense against the invading armies of darkness. In Jesus’ name.

We arrived home late last night after attending Greg Locke’s deliverance ministry conference in Nashville, TN.

We witnessed a lot of amazing things, including healing. But I have seen these kinds of things before, and I could be very skeptical, but I am not. As we were doing mass deliverance, there were manifestations of screaming, convulsing, and throwing up all over the tent. These people were not actors put there to make the speakers look good. This conference was no puffed-up show. The speakers on stage would never interact with many of the folks manifesting. The event was not about the speakers but about deliverance. Instead, members of the congregation ministered to their neighbors. People were receiving deliverance all over the complex, even in the parking lot. This deliverance revival is the real deal. It's not the Greg Locke show or anybody else’s show. This is the finger of God working through His people. “Normal people” have been activated to do the work of the Lord.

I don't care about your denomination, eschatology, or your finer points of theology.

Do you love Jesus?
Do you love people?
Do you live a Holy life?
This is what matters.

The truth sets your free; it does not commend you to God or make you part of the “in crowd.”

“The Lord utters His voice before His army;
Surely His camp is very great,
For strong is he who carries out His word.” Joel 2:11

The person who walks in obedience will experience the strength of God even in the middle of his weakness.

“Strong is he who carries out His word.”

Our hope was never in politicians, Washington, DC, or money. But we did forget that many times. Jesus is bringing us to the necessary point of desperation. We need a Christian revival.

Listen to the generosity of God:

“I permitted Myself to be sought by those who did not ask for Me; I permitted Myself to be found by those who did not seek Me. I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,’ to a nation that did not call on My name. I have spread out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, who walk in the way which is not good, following their own thoughts...” Isaiah 65:1-2

God wants to save us more than we want to be saved. That fact is a very wonderful thing, but it is also a wonderfully useless thing if we never become equally desperate for our salvation.

Deliverance from sin is easy if we want it but impossible if we do not.

Not just my son, but now he is my brother. Congrats to my son, the newest 2nd LT in the US Marine Corps

“People whose lives are determined by human flesh focus their minds on matters of human flesh, but people whose lives are determined by the spirit focus their minds on matters to do with the spirit.” Romans 8:5 NTE

This is such an important word for this season in world history. The future looks pretty horrible in the natural world. But God is spirit and does not share our limits of wisdom, foresight, nor strength. Now more than ever we need to learn to walk in the spirit with the Holy Spirit. This is the only way to walk in victory.

“Focus on the flesh, and you will die; but focus on the spirit and you will have life and peace.” Romans 8:6 NTE
